San Diego High School is composed of many talented students. For one student, Jeremy Tyler of the Men’s Varsity Basketball team, his skill on the court has led him to be ranked as the #1 sophomore in the nation and also gain the recognition and attention from various mega-corporations including Nike, Adidas, and Reebok. Another group, Gallery and Associates, has also taken a special interest in Jeremy.

Andrew Gallery of Gallery and Associates asked to film Jeremy and create a documentary on the life of this talented student athlete. His mission is to follow Jeremy throughout his athletic career and observe the changes which occur due to various influences in his life. Gallery and Associates plan to follow Jeremy through high school, college, and eventually, the NBA (Jeremy is presently NBA bound). Gallery believes this documentary makes for a good story, “It will be interesting to see how well he can manage the pressures of school and basketball.” Jeremy was selected for this documentary because of his charismatic personality. “To make this story a success,” Gallery explained, “would be to look back on this documentary and be able to pinpoint the different variables that affected the changes in his life. We plan on filming him as long as he plans to continue his career in basketball. We’ll shoot him in a game, we’ll shoot during his injuries, and even shoot if his career ends due to injury.”

Gallery and Associates plans on filming every aspect of Jeremy’s life: personal life, family and home life, school and academic progress, relationships, games, tournaments, and out of state events as each of these things can possibly impact his performance on the court. When asked what would become of this documentary Andrew answered, “There are opportunities for this documentary to debut on TV as a short series. I’m undecided now, but eventually this will become a feature length film.”
